Optional Toppings

  • Vanilla Greek yogurt
  • Fresh mixed berries
  • Maple syrup
  • Sliced almonds
  • Granola
  • Chopped pecans
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Equipment

  • 8×8-inch baking dish
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Rubber spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cooling rack

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oven

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Rolled oats
  • Baking powder
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Salt

Whisk until evenly combined.

Step 3: Mix the Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together:

  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Greek yogurt
  • Maple syrup or honey
  • Vanilla extract
  • Melted butter or coconut oil

Whisk until smooth.

Step 4: Combine the Batter

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

Stir until the oats are evenly coated.

Gently fold in the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.

Add any optional mix-ins, such as chia seeds, flaxseed, nuts, or coconut.

Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes so the oats can absorb the liquid.

Step 5: Fill the Baking Dish

Transfer the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Spread it into an even layer.

Top with a few extra berries for a colorful presentation.

Step 6: Bake

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.

A toothpick inserted into the center should come out mostly clean.

Step 7: Cool

Remove from the oven and allow the baked oatmeal to cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Step 8: Garnish and Serve

Serve warm with vanilla Greek yogurt, fresh berries, maple syrup, chopped nuts, or fresh mint for extra flavor.
