Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
Wash the lemons and ginger thoroughly.
Peel the ginger using the edge of a spoon or a vegetable peeler.
Cut the ginger into small pieces.
Juice the lemons until you have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
Step 2: Blend the Ginger
Place the chopped ginger into a blender.
Add 2 cups of the cold water.
Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes, or until the ginger is finely pureed.
Step 3: Strain the Mixture
Pour the blended ginger mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher.
Press the pulp with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
Discard the remaining pulp or save it for tea or smoothies.

Add the following to the pitcher:

- Remaining 3 cups of cold water
- Honey
- Lime juice (if using)

- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Stir well until the honey has completely dissolved.
Step 5: Taste and Adjust
Taste the juice and adjust it to your preference.
- Add more honey for extra sweetness.
- Add more lemon juice for a brighter citrus flavor.
- Add more water if you’d like a milder ginger taste.
Step 6: Chill
Refrigerate the juice for 30 minutes before serving for the freshest flavor.
Alternatively, serve immediately over plenty of ice.
Step 7: Garnish
Pour the juice into serving glasses filled with ice.
Garnish each glass with:
- A lemon slice

- A thin slice of fresh ginger
For a sparkling version, top each glass with a splash of chilled sparkling water just before serving.
