Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Fruit
Peel and slice the bananas.
For the creamiest smoothie, freeze the banana slices for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Wash and hull the strawberries if using fresh berries.
Step 2: Add the Ingredients
Place the following ingredients into a high-speed blender:
- Frozen bananas
- Frozen strawberries
- Peanut butter
- Greek yogurt
- Milk
- Honey or maple syrup (if using)
- Vanilla extract
- Flaxseed or chia seeds (optional)
- Protein powder (optional)
If using fresh fruit, add the ice cubes.
Step 3: Blend
Blend on high speed for 60–90 seconds, or until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy.
If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk.
If it’s too thin, add a few more frozen strawberries or banana slices and blend again.
Step 4: Taste and Adjust
Taste the smoothie.
Add more honey for extra sweetness or a little more peanut butter for a richer, nuttier flavor if desired.
Blend again briefly to combine.
Step 5: Serve
Divide the smoothie evenly between two chilled glasses.
Step 6: Garnish
Top with banana slices, fresh strawberries, chopped peanuts, granola, chia seeds, hemp hearts, or a drizzle of peanut butter.
Serve immediately while cold and creamy.

Storage
This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately after blending for the freshest flavor and creamiest texture.
If needed, store leftovers in an airtight jar or bottle in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before drinking, as natural separation may occur.
For longer storage, pour the smoothie into freezer-safe containers or ice cube trays and freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight or blend the frozen cubes with a splash of milk until smooth before serving.
