Ingredients
- 16 ounces (450g) white chocolate, chopped or white candy melts
- ½ cup (130g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies
- ½ cup mini peanut butter cups, chopped
- ¼ cup salted roasted peanuts, roughly chopped (optional)
- 2 tablespoons colorful sprinkles (optional)
- Pinch of flaky sea salt (optional)
Equipment
- Microwave-safe bowl or double boiler
- Rubber spatula
- 8×8-inch baking pan or baking tray
- Parchment paper
- Offset spatula or spoon
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Pan
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan or small baking tray with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang on the sides for easy removal.
Step 2: Melt the Chocolate
Place the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval until completely melted and smooth.
Alternatively, melt the chocolate using a double boiler over low heat.
Step 3: Add the Peanut Butter
Stir the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract into the melted white chocolate until smooth and fully combined.
Step 4: Add the Mix-Ins
Fold in half of the Reese’s Pieces, half of the chopped peanut butter cups, and the chopped peanuts, if using.
Step 5: Spread the Bark
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Sprinkle the remaining Reese’s Pieces, chopped peanut butter cups, sprinkles, and flaky sea salt over the top. Gently press the toppings into the chocolate so they stick.
Step 6: Chill
Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until the bark is completely firm.
Step 7: Break into Pieces
Lift the bark out of the pan using the parchment paper.
Break or cut it into irregular pieces and serve.
Tips for Success
- Use high-quality white chocolate for the smoothest texture and best flavor.
- Avoid overheating the chocolate to prevent it from becoming grainy.
- Press the toppings gently into the bark before chilling so they stay in place.
- Store the bark in the refrigerator if your kitchen is warm.
- Customize with mini marshmallows, pretzels, toffee bits, or chocolate chips for extra texture.
