Ingredients

- 2 cups ripe Mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
- 4 oz tequila
- 2 oz orange liqueur (such as triple sec)
- 2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
- 1–1½ cups ice
- Tajín or salt for the rim
- Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the glasses
- Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass.
- Dip the rim into salt or Tajín.
- Blend the drink
- Add mango chunks, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, sweetener, and ice to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and slushy.
- Taste and adjust
- Add more lime juice for tartness or more sweetener if the mangoes are not very sweet.
- Serve
- Pour into prepared glasses.
- Garnish with lime wedges or mango slices.
Tips
- Use frozen mango for a thicker frozen margarita without watering it down.
- For a spicy version: Add a slice of jalapeño while blending.
- Want it lighter? Add a splash of sparkling water after blending.
- Mocktail option: Replace tequila and orange liqueur with orange juice and sparkling water.
- Best tequila choice: Silver/blanco tequila gives the freshest flavor.
- Extra tropical flavor: Add pineapple chunks or coconut cream.
Serve immediately while cold and frosty.
