Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

For the Cream Cheese Layer

  • 1 package (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping

For the Lemon Layer

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package instant lemon pudding mix
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Topping

  • Extra whipped cream
  • Lemon slices or zest for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust

  1. Mix crushed crackers, melted butter, and sugar.
  2. Press firmly into the bottom of a dish or pan.
  3. Chill for 15 minutes.

2. Make the Cream Layer

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and mix well.
  3. Fold in whipped cream gently.
  4. Spread over the chilled crust.

3. Prepare the Lemon Layer

  1. Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thick.
  2. Add lemon juice and lemon zest.
  3. Spread carefully over the cream cheese layer.

4. Add Topping

  1. Spread whipped cream on top.
  2. Garnish with lemon zest or slices.

5. Chill

  • Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours before serving for best texture.

Tips

  • Use fresh lemon juice for a brighter flavor.
  • Chill the dessert overnight for cleaner slices.
  • Add crushed nuts or coconut to the crust for extra texture.
  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
  • Keep it refrigerated until serving.
