Ingredients
For the Cocktail
- 1½ ounces raspberry or cherry vodka
- 1 ounce peach schnapps
- 2 ounces cranberry juice
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
- Ice cubes
Optional Garnishes
- Gummy bears
- Lemon wheel
- Orange slice
- Maraschino cherry
- Fresh mint sprig
- Colored sugar for rimming the glass
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Glass
If desired, rim a chilled cocktail glass with colored sugar. To help the sugar stick, rub a lemon wedge around the rim before dipping it into the sugar.
Fill the glass with fresh ice.
Step 2: Mix the Cocktail
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
Add the raspberry vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and fresh lemon juice.
Shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds until the mixture is thoroughly chilled.
Step 3: Strain and Serve
Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
For a smoother drink, use a fine-mesh strainer to remove small ice chips.
Step 4: Garnish
Garnish with gummy bears on a cocktail pick, a lemon wheel, an orange slice, or a maraschino cherry.
For an extra festive touch, float a few gummy bears on top just before serving.
Serve immediately while cold.
Tips for the Best Gummy Bear Cocktail
- Chill the glass before serving to keep the cocktail colder for longer.
- Use quality fruit juices for the freshest flavor.
- Shake well to fully blend the ingredients and achieve a crisp, refreshing drink.
- Add the gummy bears just before serving, as they soften if left in the drink too long.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more cranberry juice or a splash of simple syrup if desired.
- For a stronger citrus flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
