Ingredients
- 2–3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2–3 tbsp chili powder (or rehydrated dried chiles)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp cumin
- ¼ cup peanut butter or ground nuts
- 1–2 squares dark chocolate
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Sauté onion and garlic in oil until soft.
- Add spices and chili powder; cook briefly to release aroma.
- Stir in peanut butter and chocolate.
- Pour in broth and simmer until thick and smooth.
- Blend (optional for smoothness).
- Add chicken and simmer 10–15 minutes.
