Ingredients

For the Slushies

  • 4 cups ice cubes
  • 2½ cups chilled pink lemonade
  • 1 cup vodka
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup frozen raspberries (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional for a smoother flavor)

For the Glasses

  • Lemon wedges
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • Fresh lemon slices
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Fresh mint sprigs

Instructions

Step 1: Chill the Ingredients

For the best frozen texture, place the pink lemonade, vodka, and lemon juice in the refrigerator for at least one hour before preparing the drink. Starting with cold ingredients helps the slushies stay thick and icy without melting too quickly.

Step 2: Prepare the Glasses

Run a lemon wedge around the rim of each serving glass. Dip the rim into a shallow plate of granulated sugar until evenly coated. Place the glasses in the freezer while preparing the slushies to keep them extra cold.

Step 3: Blend the Slushies

In a high-powered blender, combine:

  • Ice cubes
  • Pink lemonade
  • Vodka
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Frozen strawberries
  • Frozen raspberries
  • Lemon zest
  • Vanilla extract (if using)
  • Simple syrup

Blend on high speed for about 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture becomes smooth, thick, and slushy.

If the mixture is too thick, add a little more pink lemonade, one tablespoon at a time.

If it’s too thin, add extra ice or a handful of frozen strawberries and blend again.

Step 4: Taste and Adjust

Taste the slushie before serving.

If you prefer it sweeter, blend in a little more simple syrup.

For a brighter citrus flavor, add another tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.

If you’d like a stronger cocktail, add an extra splash of vodka and blend briefly.

Step 5: Serve

Remove the chilled glasses from the freezer.

Pour the frozen lemonade mixture evenly into each glass.

Top with fresh strawberries, raspberries, lemon slices, and a sprig of fresh mint for a colorful presentation.

Serve immediately with wide straws or cocktail spoons while the slushies are thick and icy.
