Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup milk (dairy or your favorite plant-based milk)
- ½ cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon fresh lime juice (optional, for brightness)
- ½ cup ice cubes (omit if using frozen mango)
Optional Add-Ins
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- ½ cup baby spinach
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- ½ banana for extra creaminess
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
Peel and chop the mango if using fresh fruit. Measure out the remaining ingredients.
Step 2: Add Everything to the Blender
Place the mango chunks, milk, Greek yogurt, honey (if using), vanilla extract, lime juice, and ice cubes into a high-speed blender.
Add any optional ingredients such as chia seeds, protein powder, oats, spinach, or banana.
Step 3: Blend
Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds, or until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy.
If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of milk and blend again until you reach your preferred consistency.
If it’s too thin, add more frozen mango or a few ice cubes and blend once more.
Step 4: Taste and Adjust
Taste the smoothie and add more honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter drink.
Blend for another 10 seconds after making any adjustments.
Step 5: Serve
Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses.
Garnish with fresh mango slices, a sprinkle of chia seeds, or a mint sprig if desired.
Serve immediately while cold.
