Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Fruit
Wash all the fruit thoroughly.
Hull and slice the strawberries.
Thinly slice the lemon, lime, and orange.
Lightly bruise the mint leaves by gently pressing them between your hands to release their natural oils without tearing them.
Step 2: Mix the Sangria Base
In a large pitcher, combine:
- White wine
- Strawberry vodka
- Fresh lemon juice
- Honey or simple syrup
Stir until the honey has completely dissolved.
Step 3: Add the Fruit
Add to the pitcher:
- Sliced strawberries
- Lemon slices
- Lime slices
- Orange slices
- Mint leaves
Gently stir to evenly distribute the fruit throughout the sangria.
Step 4: Chill
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for 2–4 hours, or overnight for even deeper flavor.
During this time, the fruit infuses the wine with its fresh, fruity aroma and sweetness.
Step 5: Add the Sparkle
Just before serving, pour in the chilled sparkling water or club soda.
Stir gently to maintain the bubbles.
Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding a little more honey or simple syrup if desired.
Step 6: Serve
Fill serving glasses halfway with ice.
Spoon some of the fruit into each glass.
Pour the sangria over the ice, making sure each glass gets plenty of fruit.
Step 7: Garnish
Top each glass with:
- A whole strawberry
- A fresh mint sprig
- A lemon wheel
- A lime wedge
Serve immediately while cold and sparkling.
Chef’s Tips
- Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the sweetest flavor.
- Chill the sangria thoroughly before serving to allow the fruit to infuse.
- Add the sparkling water just before serving to keep it bubbly.
- A crisp, dry white wine balances the sweetness of the fruit perfectly.
- Lightly bruise the mint leaves instead of chopping them to avoid bitterness.
