  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • 1 fresh jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Wraps

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 12 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Add-Ins

  • Sliced red onion
  • Pickled jalapeños
  • Crispy fried onions
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Jalapeño Ranch

In a medium bowl, combine:

  • Mayonnaise
  • Sour cream
  • Buttermilk
  • Jalapeño
  • Lime juice
  • Parsley
  • Chives
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Whisk until smooth and creamy.

For a smoother dressing, blend all ingredients in a food processor for 30 seconds.

Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 2: Cook the Bacon

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp.

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Allow it to cool slightly before assembling the wraps.

Step 3: Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and dry the lettuce.

Shred the lettuce and dice the tomatoes.

Slice the avocado and prepare any additional toppings you plan to use.

Step 4: Warm the Tortillas

Warm the tortillas for 10–15 seconds in the microwave or briefly in a dry skillet.

This makes them easier to roll without tearing.

Step 5: Assemble the Wraps

Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface.

Spread 2–3 tablespoons of jalapeño ranch down the center of each tortilla.

Layer with:

  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Crispy bacon
  • Avocado slices
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

Add any optional toppings.

Step 6: Roll the Wraps

Fold the sides inward.

Roll tightly from the bottom up to fully enclose the filling.

Place seam-side down.

Step 7: Slice and Serve

Cut each wrap diagonally in half.

Serve immediately with extra jalapeño ranch for dipping.

Tips for the Best BLT Wraps

Use Crispy Bacon

Extra-crispy bacon adds the perfect crunch and prevents soggy wraps.

Dry the Lettuce Well

Excess moisture can make the wraps soggy.

Chill the Dressing

Allowing the dressing to chill for 15–30 minutes enhances the flavor.

Roll Tightly

A tight roll helps keep the ingredients together while eating.

Serve Fresh

These wraps taste best shortly after assembly.

Variations

Spicy BLT Wrap

Add extra jalapeños and a dash of hot sauce.

Turkey BLT Wrap

Replace some or all of the bacon with sliced turkey.

Chicken BLT Wrap

Add grilled chicken breast for extra protein.

Southwest BLT Wrap
